The Russian delegation was led by Denis Manturov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, while the Uzbek delegation was headed by Jamshid Khodjayev, Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan.

The forum reaffirmed the high level of strategic partnership and alliance between the two countries. Currently, 14 regions of Uzbekistan maintain strong cooperation with over 50 regions of the Russian Federation, and the total portfolio of joint projects has exceeded USD 6.2 billion.

The main topics of discussion included the development of trade and economic cooperation, industrial partnership, agricultural collaboration, and cultural and humanitarian ties. Particular attention was paid to the expansion of e-commerce, the establishment of joint industrial enterprises, the development of wholesale distribution centers, and the implementation of dual education programs to train specialists in the labor markets of both countries.

Following the meeting, over 30 agreements were signed between the regions of Russia and Uzbekistan, covering trade, economic, scientific, technical, and humanitarian areas. The event marked another important step toward strengthening practical interregional cooperation.
