Kyrgyzstan’s Minister of Labor, Social Security and Migration Ravshanbek Sabirov last week in Bishkek met with Hitoshi Kanamori, President of IM Japan, the largest organization that accepts foreign technical interns in Japan, to discuss opportunities for organized employment of Kyrgyz citizens in Japan.
The Kyrgyz side expressed its readiness to ensure proper training of skilled workers to meet the requirements of the Japanese labor market, with particular attention to in-demand professions in Japan in the areas of IT, services sector, social services, and blue-collar jobs, including welders.
The parties emphasized the importance of both professional and language training of potential labor migrants.
Sabirov emphasized the importance of protecting the labor rights of Kyrgyz citizens abroad. “It is important that Kyrgyz specialists not only get jobs, but also have access to an insurance system, legal support and stable communication channels with government agencies,” he said.
