Deputy Chairman of the Board of Kazakh Invest national company, Madiyar Sultanbek on September 26 held a meeting with a delegation from the Jiujiang Economic and Technological Zone (China), led by Deputy Director of the Executive Committee Luo Gomin.
Following the negotiations, the parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding providing for the development of joint investment projects, exchange of information and advisory support, as well as assistance in attracting financing and finding partners.
The document will serve as a basis for strengthening economic ties between Kazakhstan and China, developing industrial cooperation, and facilitating technology transfer. The parties agreed to maintain regular interaction and work out promising areas of cooperation.
The discussion was also attended by Shanghai Refire Energy Group Co., Ltd., a leading Chinese company in the field of hydrogen technologies. Refire representatives expressed interest in establishing a full cycle of green hydrogen production in Kazakhstan — from manufacturing equipment for its generation to producing hydrogen-powered engines. The company plans to launch production facilities in the country and is seeking a local partner to initiate the project.
