On April 5, 2026, Tashkent will host the 8th Tashkent International Marathon.
This prestigious sporting event, held for eight consecutive years, has become one of the largest sports events in the country. More than 15,000 participants from over 30 countries are expected to take part, the Tourism Committee has announced.
The marathon is an international sporting event with “World Athletics Label” status, awarded by World Athletics. Results recorded at the marathon are officially recognized by World Athletics.
Participants will start at the square in front of Humo Arena.
The competition will be held over the following distances:
42.195 km – Marathon – The classic marathon distance for professionals and ambitious amateurs.
21.097 km – Half Marathon – An optimal challenge for those ready for a serious distance.
10 km – City Ten – A fast and dynamic distance for personal records.
5 km – Mass Run – An ideal start for beginners and corporate teams.
3 km – Nordic Walking – A distance for Nordic walking enthusiasts.
1 km – Kids Run – First challenge for young athletes.
600 m – Kids Run – A children’s race.
400 m – Kids Run – The shortest distance for the youngest participants.
Separate competitions are planned for athletes with disabilities.
The event is open to all athletes and running enthusiasts regardless of citizenship.
