Qazaq Air launches direct flights from Astana to Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan

Qazaq Air (Vietjet Qazaqstan) has announced the launch of two new international routes connecting the capital of Kazakhstan with key cities in Central Asia — Bishkek and Samarkand.

The airline’s expansion in Central Asia is part of the strategic initiative of Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev aimed at strengthening ties between Central Asian countries to promote tourism, trade, education, and cultural exchange.

Starting from November 7, Qazaq Air will operate direct flights Astana – Samarkand – Astana, and from November 10, Astana – Bishkek – Astana.

Flight schedule:

Astana – Samarkand – Astana (2 flights per week — Friday and Sunday)

Astana – Bishkek – Astana (2 flights per week — Monday and Thursday).

“Direct air connections between Astana, Samarkand, and Bishkek provide greater convenience for passengers and contribute to the development of business, tourism, and cultural ties across our region. These routes open new opportunities for travelers, entrepreneurs, and students by connecting cities rich in both history and modern potential,” said Adilbek Umraliev, Chairman of the Board of Qazaq Air (Vietjet Qazaqstan).

With its hub at Astana International Airport, the airline offers an extended network of domestic routes from Kazakhstan’s capital.
