Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Kazakh Invest national company Madiyar Sultanbek held a meeting with a delegation from the private business and academic community of Peshawar Province (Pakistan), which arrived in Kazakhstan to discuss prospects for trade, economic, and investment cooperation.
According to Kazakh Invest, the delegation included representatives of leading educational, consulting, and business structures of the province, among them Qurtuba University of Science and Information Technology, Electra Consultants, Water and Sanitation Services Peshawar, Zia Traders, Muslim Enterprise, Al Muslim Real Estate, Pak Match Factory, Peshawar Chemicals, Ultimate Engineering Consultants, and others. The delegation was headed by Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Khalil, former Deputy Mayor of Peshawar and Chairman of the Institute of Regional Studies.
The parties discussed opportunities for implementing investment projects in Kazakhstan, including in renewable energy, agriculture, manufacturing, infrastructure, and education. Special attention was given to establishing joint ventures and expanding cooperation in priority sectors for both sides.
Sultanbek emphasized that Kazakhstan is interested in expanding partnerships with Pakistani companies, taking into account the growing potential of mutual trade and favorable conditions for production localization.
The parties agreed to continue substantive dialogue on a number of specific initiatives and to consider organizing joint business missions to foster practical cooperation.
