On January 20, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was briefed on the achieved results and priority tasks for 2026 in the sphere of digital technologies development.
In recent years, the country has been implementing consistent measures to develop the digital economy, digitalize public services, and form an innovative ecosystem. Today, there are 15 venture funds, and the volume of venture capital has exceeded $180 million.

By 2030, the country plans to increase the number of startups to 5,000, the number of startups entering foreign markets to 200, and raise the volume of venture investments to $2 billion.
In this regard, a four-stage startup support system is being implemented, with the provision of grants, tax incentives, co-financing mechanisms, and compensation for export expenses at the stages of idea, development, launch, and scaling.
Plans for the further development of electronic public services were reviewed. In particular, it is planned to increase the number of digital services to 900, expand the functionality of the MyGov.uz mobile application, implement artificial intelligence technologies in more than 50 services, develop a Unified Population Register, and fully digitalize the processes of starting a business, registering employees, issuing bank cards, obtaining SIM cards, and accessing insurance and advertising services.
Information was presented related to the progress of creating infrastructure for artificial intelligence technologies. For instance, a modern small supercomputer has been commissioned, and work on acquiring and launching a large supercomputer is in an active phase.
The President noted that digital technologies directly contribute to increasing the competitiveness of economic sectors, the efficiency of public administration, and the quality of life of the population.
