A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Azamat Kozhanov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Kazakh Invest national company, and Maria Perez, Kazakhstan Project Director of the international business publication The Business Year. The agreement outlines cooperation on the upcoming edition The Business Year: Kazakhstan 2026, focused on Kazakhstan’s investment potential.
In line with the agreement, both parties have started preparations for the special issue The Business Year: Kazakhstan 2026. The publication will highlight the country’s investment climate, key economic sectors, and national development priorities. It will feature interviews with government and private sector leaders, along with in-depth analytics on promising growth areas.
According to Kozhanov, collaboration with global media platforms is essential to shaping a positive image of Kazakhstan among international investors: “Interest from international business publications in Kazakhstan continues to grow. We believe that The Business Year: Kazakhstan 2026 will serve as a powerful tool to promote the country’s image and attract strategic investors. It will highlight the real transformations underway in our economy and demonstrate Kazakhstan’s openness to international business.”
The Business Year is a global business publication that covers economic development across more than 40 countries. Since 2009, its editorial team has produced annual reviews and reports based on interviews with business leaders and government officials. The first edition focused on Kazakhstan was published in 2012.
