The President of Uzbekistan has identified the doubling of the number of 4- and 5-star hotels by 2030 as one of the key objectives for the development of the tourism industry. As part of the implementation of this strategic goal, special attention is being paid to the development of modern hotel infrastructure in the regions. In particular, a new 5-star hotel, Ramada by Wyndham, implemented by Karakalpak Palace Hotel LLC, was officially opened in the center of Nukus in Karakalpakstan, according to the Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, representatives of the Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan, a representative of Wyndham for the CIS countries, and the media.
Speakers at the ceremony emphasized that the opening of the Ramada by Wyndham hotel in Nukus is a significant milestone in the development of Karakalpakstan’s hotel infrastructure.
The modern hotel fully meets international standards and offers guests a high level of service and exceptional comfort. The hotel has 120 rooms with a total capacity of 240 guests. As part of the project’s implementation, 122 new jobs were created, contributing to employment opportunities for the local population.
