On September 19, a monument was unveiled at the Baigetobe Mound in the village of Shilikty in the Zaysan District of the East Kazakhstan Region, marking the grave of a Great Saka Warrior, whose remains have been reburied, Adyrna.kz reported.
This event was a significant milestone, reflecting the country’s deep-rooted history and its contribution to the development of world culture.
This is one of the Golden Warriors discovered in Kazakhstan.
According to archaeologists, more than two hundred artefacts of the Saka-Wusun era have been unearthed in the Shilikty Steppe—a center of civilization in Eurasia. Gold jewelry, works of art in animal style, and a five-star button demonstrate the high level of the Saka civilization.
