Kyrgyzstan’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Meder Abakirov received Bady Kebir, the founder of the international equestrian rally Gallops, which is taking place in Kyrgyzstan from July 21 to 26 with the participation of about 100 horse riding and equestrian sports enthusiasts from all over the world.
Abakirov noted with satisfaction the holding of a large-scale event with the involvement of world-famous journalists, travelers and bloggers. He emphasized its importance for the preservation and promotion of the cultural heritage and tourism industry of Kyrgyzstan, as well as the development of cultural and humanitarian ties with international partners.
Kebir expressed gratitude to the Kyrgyz side for assistance in organizing the international cultural event, which will allow the leading media to widely cover the tourism potential of Kyrgyzstan.
Gallops is a famous international horse competition held in 2014, 2018, 2019 and 2021 in Oman, Morocco, India and Jordan. The concept of the event is similar to the annual Paris-Dakar rally. The competition is a horse race. Twelve participating teams from all over the world demonstrate their endurance and riding skills covering about two hundred kilometers in the Naryn region around Lake Son-Kul over five days.
