Kazakhstan and the United States expand cooperation in digital infrastructure

With the support of the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of Kazakhstan, the owner of Kazakhstan’s Alatau City Bank, Vyacheslav Kim, and DDH (North America) Inc. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding valued at 300 million US dollars. The purpose of the agreement is to strengthen strategic partnership in the field of digital mining, modernize energy and computing infrastructure, and attract private investment to establish advanced data centers while increasing transparency and efficiency in Kazakhstan’s mining industry.

“Kazakhstan is building an open and strategically oriented model of cooperation in the digital asset industry. The signing of this memorandum between a Kazakh investor and a U.S. digital mining company reflects our commitment to international partnership, technology exchange, and the development of sustainable investment ties. For Kazakhstan, this is an opportunity to adopt best practices, enhance competencies, and lay the groundwork for joint innovation in digital mining and artificial intelligence. Such projects reinforce Kazakhstan’s position as a reliable and responsible participant in the global digital economy,” stated Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of Kazakhstan, Zhaslan Madiyev.

“The signing of this memorandum with one of the leading global players in data processing aims to strengthen international partnerships of Kazakh business in information technology, digital assets, artificial intelligence, and other sectors that are strategic priorities for the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. We view this cooperation not only as an investment project, but also as a unique opportunity for technology transfer, expertise development in the construction of energy and computing infrastructure, and the advancement of cloud technologies and other essential components of the digital economy of the future,” emphasized Vyacheslav Kim, owner of Alatau City Bank.
