Filming of Dimash Qudaibergen’s ‘Voice Beyond Horizon’ project begins in Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan’s Turkistan region has become the starting point for the filming of an international music show “Voice Beyond Horizon,” with world-renowned singer Dimash Qudaibergen serving as executive producer. The project brings together performers from China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Italy, Malaysia, and Serbia.

Participants arrived in the city of Turkistan by train and will visit several of the region’s most iconic cultural and tourist sites during production. Among them are the Azret-Sultan complex, the ancient settlement of Otrar, the Karavansaray tourist complex, the Ethnoaul cultural village, and the Sayram-Ugam National Park.

A panel of international experts will evaluate the professional level of the contestants.

Following the filming stage in Turkistan, the participants will continue their creative journey across other regions of Kazakhstan, including Mangystau, Almaty, and Akmola, as well as the cities of Almaty and Astana. The show’s finale will take place in the capital, Astana.

The project is being carried out in collaboration with Hunan Broadcasting System, whose daily audience exceeds 210 million viewers across its broadcast network and digital platform Mango TV. Thanks to this partnership, millions of viewers worldwide will be introduced to Kazakhstan’s rich cultural and tourism potential.

The initiative is supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan, the national company Kazakh Tourism, and regional administrations.

According to the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the show is scheduled to be broadcast next year on the Hunan TV channel and Mango TV digital platform, and possibly on one of Kazakhstan’s TV channels.

For Dimash, this is a symbolic return: almost ten years ago, his international recognition began with the participation in the Singer show on Hunan TV.

“This project will become a new page in the cultural cooperation between Kazakhstan and China. It is important for me to show the wealth of our country to the world – its music, nature, and hospitality. We will unite performers from different countries so that music can once again prove that it has no borders,” said Dimash.
