Russia’s non-profit organization for international cooperation, Eurasia, with the support of Kyrgyzstan’s Cabinet of Ministers, will build a cultural and amusement park in the village of Orok near Bishkek.
According to Eurasia, the new park will symbolize the friendship between the peoples of Russia and Kyrgyzstan.
A presentation of the project took place late in April in Bishkek with the participation of the city’s municipality.
“Thanks to our patrons, Eurasia is implementing a large-scale social project to create a family and children’s park in Bishkek. Thank you to Kyrgyzstan President Sadyr Japarov for the continuous support of the Eurasia projects and his consistent policy aimed at strengthening friendly relations between Russia and Kyrgyzstan, as well as developing our strategic partnership within the Eurasian Economic Union,” stated Alyona Arshinova, Eurasia’s Council Chairperson and a member of the Russian State Duma (parliament).
According to Kymbat Urumkulova, director of Eurasia’s regional office in Kyrgyzstan, the future park will occupy an area of 10 hectares. It will have a large number of amusement rides and recreation zones that will provide a comfortable and varied pastime for families with children. Trees, bushes, flower beds, and lawns will be planted on its territory.
According to Bishkek’s Vice-Mayor Jamalbek Yrsaliev, after the completion of construction, the park will become property of the Bishkek municipality and entrance will be free for citizens and guests of the capital.
Eurasia has been implementing social and humanitarian initiatives in Kyrgyzstan since 2024. Eurasia and the Russian Education Ministry have sent young teachers from Russia to teach specialized subjects in Russian in secondary schools across Kyrgyzstan.
Eurasia has donated 100 school buses to schools in remote Kyrgyz villages, and also funds the renovation of schools in Bishkek and Kyzyl Kyya.
